Lovers of the outdoors flock from all over for a chance to experience the gorgeous Tahoe weather and scenery, and there are certainly a plethora of trails to take you as high as you want to go! Whether you are in for an easy scenic stroll or up for more of a full-day challenge, you can find trailheads throughout the Donner Lake area, up at Squaw Valley’s High Camp, off the gondolas at Northstar, throughout the Tahoe Donner neighborhood, along the Truckee River, along Highway 267 over Brockway Summit, and of course … along Lake Tahoe itself. Unwind and soak up the sun every Saturday with Alpine Meadows’ Spring Music Series. Skiers and snowboarders will enjoy the tunes of local, talented musicians while kicking up their boots on the deck of the Alpine Meadows Lodge from 1pm-4pm.
