Amy Blankenship
Amy Blankenship is an honorary Tahoe/Truckee local and now NW Reno! She grew up in the Bay Area, but was one of the weekend warriors heading to Tahoe every Friday night. Her dad was a volunteer ski patrol at Homewood Mtn. Resort and this is where Amy learned to ski while literally falling head over heels for Tahoe! She knew that this was more than a place to vacation. It was a place to put down roots.
Amy made the move to Tahoe shortly after college and immediately went to work in careers that could afford her the ability to remain in this adventure wonderland. With the motto of “work hard, play hard” driving her, she found herself gravitating towards helping others also obtain their dream lifestyle in Tahoe. She joined O’Dette Mortgage Group in Tahoe City and successfully helped grow their business for nearly 10 years before accepting a role with The Village at Squaw Valley as their homeowner liaison and property manager. In 2017, blessed with the arrival of her third child, Amy left to care for her growing family, acting as Escrow Manager for Truckee River Homes, and pursued her real estate license. She is now a full-time real estate agent with Truckee River Homes in CA and NV and brings with her a vast amount of experience and knowledge of the local area and the real estate industry.
