From mid-June through August, every Thursday night in downtown Truckee is a special experience for people of all ages. Historic Downtown Truckee transforms into an exciting street fair featuring local and regional artisans, food trucks, a beer garden and everyone’s favorite, live music. Even parking is a breeze … just pick a neighborhood shuttle stop, and hop on board for worry-free transportation to and from the event. More

Truckee Optimist Club’s 13th Annual Truckee Brew Fest promises to be the best one yet. Enjoy tasting of over 40 specialty brews and ciders from Northern California and Nevada breweries. Live music by “The Blues Monsters”; dancing, socializing, brats and other specialty BBQ items; silent auction and more … on the lawn and under the blue skies at Truckee Regional Park. Advance tickets $35, $40 at the gate. Entry includes a commemorative tasting glass and unlimited tasting until 5 p.m. Presale tickets available at Fifty Fifty, Alibi Ale Works, Dickson Realty, Zanders, Tuff Beanz, Auto Glass Express Truckee and Mellow Fellow. Must be 21, no dogs allowed. Designated drivers admitted free and taxis are available. All proceeds benefit programs, scholarships, grants and major scholarships for the youth of Truckee. More
Tough Mudder Tahoe, Northstar, June 9th & 10th
Tough Mudder Tahoe is back with some epic new upgrades. Northstar California will be crammed full of mud and tough, just waiting to put the competitors to the test. And being a spectator at Tough Mudder is nearly as exciting as running one. The action-packed base area at Northstar will feature music, refreshments and more. Spectator tickets are $20 per person, and kids 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. More
